Region 13 of the American Iris Society

Region 13 Affiliates

Region 13 of the American Iris Society includes members from Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia, Canada. Alaska and the Yukon Territory are included in the region, although there are currently no members from these areas. The region hosts a wide range of growing conditions, making it possible to grow a very wide range of both species and hybrid irises. Please feel free to contact an Affiliate in your area with any questions you may have about growing irises!

BCIS was organized in 2006 to promote the growing of all types of Iris in British Columbia, Canada. Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world!

CCIS invites anyone in North Central Washington with an interest in iris (the ever amazing versatile perennial) to attend one of our fun and informative meetings.

Greater Portland Iris Society serving Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington is an open door for all, whether you are a club member or not, to the resources of all of the different species and hybrid irises of the world, many of which can be grown here in the Pacific Northwest.

King County Iris Society is a group of enthusiastic gardeners in the King, Pierce and Snohomish counties of Washington state dedicated to enlightening fellow gardeners about the many different types of iris available for enhancing any landscape.
